Call the Leaders in SCIF Security

Secom is one of a select few government security system providers nationwide that is authorized to install SCIFs (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities), secured containers, and closed areas to effectively safeguard sensitive and/or classified information for government agencies. Additionally, our crews regularly provide UL 2050 and DoD services to existing SCIFs, typically with no upfront costs.

Our specialists also install comprehensive monitoring systems for access areas surrounding SCIFs and secure rooms.

SCIF installation and service provided the basis for Secom’s launch years ago.

We understand the plight of a Facility Security Officer faced with a SCIF door that will not arm. At that point, you either hope the security company you have on speed dial is reputable and responsive, or you pull out the cot and prepare for a long, uncomfortable stakeout until someone shows up.

Don’t spend another weekend in an isolated, windowless SCIF away from your family.

Secom is on the job 24 hours a day, and we can service any SCIF security facility within a 4-hour radius of Columbia, Md.

UL 2050 services

Secom is one of the leading security providers nationwide to receive a UL 2050 certification. This industry standard allows our technicians to service U.S. government facilities containing classified information and military intelligence.

With more than 50 years of cumulative experience, our Top Secret and Secret cleared personnel are equipped to execute all aspects of design, installation, and service of SCIFs (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities), secured containers, and closed areas.

We have never failed a UL audit.

Secom will perform the mandatory semi-annual inspections for your secure facility, and issues all UL certificates directly, without the need for a third party.

We can also help you with UL 2050 services regarding any of the following:

  • DCID 6/9
  • Annex F
  • NISPOM
  • JAFAN
  • ICD 705
  • ICS-705-1/705-2
  • HSPD-12 (identity management)

All alarm signals are sent to central monitoring facilities authorized by UL and the DoD, and located in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Metro area. Signals are processed locally and accessible to the end user.

If you are a Facility Security Officer, our UL2050 services can help you meet your guard response requirements, while keeping your facilities compliant and secure.

Guard Response: on time, all the time

Ensure your 10, 15, and 30-minute mandatory response times are met with guard response verification services through Secom.

When an alarm is triggered for any reason at a U.S. government SCIF, secured containers, or closed rooms, time is of the essence – and the FSO on duty is at the mercy of the guard service on call.

Local police don’t have the proper clearances to respond. But Secom knows someone who does.

Our office regularly provides clients with guard response through a trusted third-party provider, and we can meet your sponsoring agency’s requirements.

Sound Masking: Safe from sound with secom

Voices carry.

Keep top secret information from falling into the wrong hands. Protect your secure facility with sound masking systems courtesy of Secom.

In accordance with criteria set forth in DCID 6/9 – Physical Security Standards for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) – Secom can install sound masking around the perimeter of your SCIF, secured container, or closed area.

Our work will not impact or hinder the sound quality within your secure area in any way, shape, or form.

Instead, our tech is designed to eliminate eavesdropping from unauthorized individuals who may be lurking in the vicinity outside your doors.

Secom specializes in non-portable sound masking systems, including:

  • Door and window masking tech, which uses low-level white noise to overpower intentional espionage
  • Sensors in ductwork that drown out listening devices

By leveraging tomorrow’s technology to address today’s top secrets, Secom can find the ideal solution for your agency’s security challenges.

Let’s start the conversation.
